BEA Systems BEA Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAS) is one of the major companies developing enterprise infrastructure software. BEA makes middleware, products that help software run on top of databases. Inc reported fourth quarter net income of $3.9m
compared with $888,000 last time on revenue up 53% at $82m compared
with $53.4m. Earnings per share were $0.05, a penny better than the
average of analysts' estimates. For the full year, the company
reported net income of $15.3m compared with a loss of $22.9m last time
on revenue which increased 74%, at $289m over $166.4m. The new numbers
include the results of the WebLogic See BEA Weblogic. and Leader Group acquisitions.
