"Your support and prayers have made this year's Thanksgiving Outreach our most successful to date, providing over 18,000 families and individuals with meals for Thanksgiving. I would especially like to thank the more than 6,000 volunteers that braved the extreme weather conditions and came out to help fill food bags and deliver them to homes along the Front Range."

Their live broadcasts on Saturday provided all of us with inspiration and we greatly appreciate their continued service to the Denver community. Since 1981 the Thanksgiving Outreach has helped impact hunger around the holiday season. The entire community is needed to participate in the various parts of the Outreach. This includes nominating needy families, organizing food drives, giving financially, and volunteering time and resources. The Outreach begins in September, and culminates on Delivery Day, when food bags are filled and delivered to thousands of families.
