Events

Run Under the Lights: The Oregon Track Club Masters' annual event on the Amazon Trail begins at 3 p.m. on Nov. 6. The timed, 3-mile run begins and ends near East 24th Avenue. The event is free and no registration is required.

Help wanted

Basketball referees needed: Basketball referees are needed for Willamalane Park & Recreation District's Springfield middle school program. Games will be on weekday afternoons, and pay is between $12 and $15. No experience is necessary. An organizational meeting will be Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Eugene Kidsports office at 2190 Polk St. For more information, call Hal Williams Hal Williams (born December 14, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio) is an American actor, best known for his recurring role as the black cop "Smitty" on Sanford and Son, and as the patriarch Lester Jenkins on 227.

Challengers baseball: Bi-Mart Eugene Challengers Baseball will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 in the board room of Swede swede: see turnip.  Johnson Stadium at North Eugene High School North Eugene High School is a public high school of about 1,200 students in Eugene, Oregon, United States. It is located at 200 Silver Lane near the Santa Clara area of Eugene.[1] North Eugene's mascot is the Highlander. .

Public tennis lessons: November lessons will be held from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays in Springfield; from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Wednesdays in Pleasant Hill; and from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays at the Eugene YMCA. Call Bob Reed Robert Reed (born February 23, 1943 in Longview, Texas) was an American football offensive lineman in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. Tryouts

Adult tackle football: The Twin City Hurricanes of the NNFL are holding tryouts for players age 18 and older at the Serbu Youth Campus across from Autzen Stadium The stadium is tucked between the Willamette River and Coburg Hills. The uniquely shaped bowl blends in with the wooded Eugene landscape. The shape also allows for unique acoustics, making it one of the loudest stadiums in NCAA Football for its capacity.  on Nov. 7.
