THURSDAY, NOV. 8 - Run Under the Lights, the Oregon Track Club Masters' annual event on the Amazon Trail, starts at 6 p.m. The 3-mile run, which consists of three 1-mile loops, is free and no registration is required. Start and finish for the run are near East 24th Avenue at Amazon Parkway.

SATURDAY, NOV. 10 - The 2007 Lifeforce Challenge includes 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer events and takes place at Frank Kinney Park, near the intersection of West Amazon Drive and Martin Street in south Eugene. Following race day registration from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., the 5K criterium-style race begins at 9 a.m. with runners circling a one-mile circuit three times. The 10K age-staggered race, at 10 a.m., calls for runners to start in waves based on their gender and age, with the first runner to the finish line winning. A 700-meter fun run for kids begins at 11:30 a.m. All courses are on bark chip paths and dirt trails. Entry fees are $14 through Nov. 9 and $19 on race day. Event tech shirts are available for $10, guaranteed only through Nov. 8. The kids' fun run for ages 10 and younger is free. Register at the Lifeforce Fitness Project, 1615 Oak St., or the Eugene Running Company, 116 Oakway Center, through Nov. 8. SATURDAY, NOV. 17 - The 2007 EWEB Run to Stay Warm includes four races varying in length from a kids' 400-meter fun run to the region's only half-marathon of the season. Starting at EWEB Plaza (500 E. Fourth Ave., Eugene), race day registration lasts from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The half-marathon begins at 9 a.m., the kids' dash at 9:05, the 10-kilometer run at 9:10 and the 5-kilometer at 9:15. Entry fees through Nov. 15 are $20 (half-marathon) and $15 (5K and 10K) and increase by $5 on Nov. 16-17. Add $5 for a T-shirt and $15 for a tech shirt. Register in person at EWEB's customer service counter, or online at eclecticedgeracing.com. There will be awards to overall and age group winners, plus random prize drawings.
