Achievements

The women's varsity quad rowers of the Oregon Association of Rowers Junior Crew will be competing in the 2007 USRowing National Youth Championships June 8-10 near Cincinnati after winning the recent Northwest Regioinal championship at Vancouver, Wash. Rowers Brittany Horn, Erin Moran Erin Moran (born October 18, 1960) is an American actress, best known for the role of Joanie Cunningham on Happy Days and its spinoff Joanie Loves Chachi.

Moran was born and raised in North Hollywood, California, the youngest of six children.
, Megan Hooley, Ellen Free and coxswain Sarah Kler won the regional competition involving boats of 22 clubs from 15 cities. Horn and Moran, both seniors at South Eugene High School South Eugene High School is a public high school located in Eugene, Oregon, United States. It was founded as Eugene High School around 1900, and was located at Willamette Street and West 11th Avenue in a brick building that later served as Eugene's city hall. , will miss commencement to compete at the national event.

Events

The Oregon Track Club Masters will hold a practice session on Wednesday at the McChesney Track behind South Eugene High School on East 24th Avenue. The 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. session will include these events: javelin, shot put, discus, long jump, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1,500, and 4x100 relay. Camps and Instruction

Track officials training: A training clinic for persons interested in becoming certified track and field officials will be held Saturday on the second floor of the Bowerman Building at Hayward Field For other uses of "Hayward", see Hayward (disambiguation).
Hayward Field at University of Oregon is one of the most well-known historic track and field stadiums in the United States. It has been the home to the University of Oregon Track and Field teams since 1919.

SATURDAY, JUNE 16 - The Data Logic 5K is a flat, fast 5K run/walk in west Eugene, starting and finishing at Data Logic (formerly PSC (Public Service Commission) Same as PUC. ) near West 11th and Danebo avenues. The course will follow the Amazon Creek bike path. Businesses, families and other groups are encouraged to participate in one of three team divisions (Corporate I: 100 or more employees; Corporate II: fewer than 100 employees; and Open) in male, female and coed subdivisions in each category.
