COMMUNITY NOTEBOOK: GOLF TOURNEY TO ENLIGHTEN.Byline: Gerry Gittelson Staff Writer The Valencia High girls' golf team has come up with a bright idea. They've decided to host a ``glow ball'' golf tournament beginning at 8 p.m. Oct. 5 at Vista Valencia Golf Course. Golfers will hit translucent balls that have glow stick inside. Proceeds benefit the team, and Vista Valencia tournament coordinator Cindy Tompkins expects a big success. ``It should be great and a lot of fun, even for beginning golfers,'' Tompkins said. ``The basic idea is just to have fun. We've done night tournaments before and had a phenomenal turnout.'' The entry cost is $25, which includes greens fees, prizes and dessert. ``We haven't figured out what the dessert is going to be yet,'' Tompkins said.
