Los Angeles City Council The Sun Vally Gateway Project involves constructing and displaying marble and river-rock markers bearing the Sun Valley logo at heavily traveled areas in the community. The project is part of a larger effort called Sun Valley Beautiful, an initiative of the Sun Valley Chamber of Commerce to beautify the community. ``A sense of pride is important to building a renewed community,'' Cardenas said. ``I appreciate community groups like Sun Valley Beautiful that are stepping up and donating their time, materials and money to make Sun Valley a better place to live and work.'' Waste Management is the primary sponsor of the effort, and Vulcan Materials, Sun Valley Paper Stock, Industrial Metal Supply Company and the Rotary Club of Sun Valley have also donated. |
