The owner of a Northridge Mall photography shop is trying to match pre-Northridge Earthquake customers with photographs they never picked up. Jerry Howard's U.S. Photo shop, which was located on the first level of the Northridge Fashion Center Northridge Fashion Center is a large shopping mall located in Northridge, California. It opened in 1971. It was severely damaged during the Northridge Earthquake in 1994, but renovated extensively in 1995 and 1998. before the temblor, didn't reopen due to the shop's substantial losses and Howard's fear of another vicious quake. Howard's quest to locate owners who entrusted their ``photographic memories'' with his shop has lingered. ``Pictures are sentimental, they are important to people,'' Howard said. ``They're photographic memories.'' Figuring that his former customers have had time to put their lives back together, Howard is certain that reuniting them with photographs taken of their weddings, Disneyland vacations and Christmas activities among many other special occasions will be a therapeutic experience following the catastrophic event. Former customers are urged to call Howard's home office at (818) 988-1143 to make arrangements for pickup. MEMO: Do you have news in your neighborhood?
