Water & Electric Board commissioners have unanimously approved a "collaborative" model for creating a master plan for developing some of the utility's riverfront property. Commissioners said Tuesday that the model would give the city of Eugene and the public ample opportunity for comment, while recognizing EWEB's role as property owner and financial steward. The plan calls for a "memo of understanding" between EWEB and the city on how to create a master plan. It also envisions a community advisory team and at least four public open houses. The proposed plan will be taken up when EWEB and the Eugene City Council hold a joint session on May 30. EWEB hopes to sell some of its riverfront property after relocating its operations and engineering staffs to a new site along Roosevelt Boulevard The following roads are called Roosevelt Boulevard:
