Waldorf School

holds academic fair

The Eugene Waldorf School will hold a middle school academic fair today from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a preschool and kindergarten kindergarten [Ger.,=garden of children], system of preschool education. Friedrich Froebel designed (1837) the kindergarten to provide an educational situation less formal than that of the elementary school but one in which children's creative play instincts would be  open house Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The school, which serves preschool through grade 8, is located at 1350 McLean Blvd. For information, call 683-6951 or visit www.choosewaldorf.org.
