Get ready to sing ``Take Me Out to the Ball Game'': Tickets for the JetHawks' 1998 season went on sale Saturday morning.

The JetHawks, California League The California League is a minor league baseball league which operates throughout the state of California. Before 2002, it was classified as a "High-A" league, indicating its status as a Class A league with the highest level of competition within that classification, and the fifth  affiliate of the Seattle Mariners The Seattle Mariners are a professional baseball team based in Seattle, Washington. The Mariners are a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball's American League. From to the present, the Mariners have played in Safeco Field. , will open their third season with a six-day homestand beginning April 2.

``It's not much of a line this year,'' said Quartz Hill resident Phil Tanner while waiting in line with his 13-year-old son, Brian. ``Last year it was way out there in the parking lot.''

,'' added Tanner, who purchased tickets for the April 5 game against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are a minor league baseball team in Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA. They are a "high-A" class team in the California League, and have been a farm team of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim since 2001. , California League affiliate of the San Diego Padres, which falls on Brian's birthday. ``He's bringing all his friends with him.''

``I go to a lot of games,'' said Harry Eberling, who is retired from the Navy and has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1966. ``I take my grandkids.''

``I'm a baseball nut. My favorite sport is baseball,'' Eberling said.

The ticket office is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. The stadium is located at 2400 W. Ave. I. For ticket information, call (805) 726-5400.
