In a two year search for a healthcare information system, MOTOL examined numerous systems from companies worldwide. In the final analysis, however, the COMET system proved to be the most unique, integrative solution which could meet all of the administrative, financial and medical needs of the Center. As well, the COMET system's ease of installation will allow the system to be operational in a relatively short period of time.

Initially, COMET SOFTWARE INTERNATIONAL's target market will be the largest Czech and Slovakian hospitals, approximately 250 hospitals with 400 or more beds. By 1996, the Company expects to be marketing the COMET System to smaller hospitals with less than 400 beds.
