The first-ever keynote panels were very successful, with participation at each averaging 500 attendees. The first panel, titled "Business Leadership", was moderated by Howard Green, host of Report On Business Television's "The Business News" and included panelists Frank Clegg, president, Microsoft Canada Co.; Emile Querel, president, EDS Canada - Solutions Consulting; Michael Moskowitz, president and general manager, Palm Canada and Paul Tsaparis, president, Hewlett Packard Canada, Ltd. They issued a call for corporate accountability and responsibility, while also debating the benefits of corporate growth versus corporate profitability in today's unstable economy. The second panel titled, "Security versus Privacy", was moderated by Steve Dotto, host of "Dotto on Data" and Hy London, president, Systems Canada. Another highlight of COMDEX Canada included the Executive Perspectives Forum, a dynamic and interactive day of high-level advice, strategies and networking designed to give senior-level executives a new outlook on how to run their organization in these complicated times.
