COMCENTRAL CORP. ANNOUNCES TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH NEVADA COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- ComCentral Corp. (NASDAQ: COMC) ("ComCentral"), a Florida-based provider of long distance telecommunications and operator services, announced today that it has received a $24 million contract to provide travel calling card services to a Nevada Communications Corporation ("NCC") client organization.
Under a previous agreement, ComCentral and NCC established a mutually exclusive service and marketing arrangement for NCC customers located in Nevada. In an expansion to that agreement, ComCentral will be the provider of portable calling services to the travel industry. The company, scheduling service to begin in December, estimates that they will distribute between 40,000 and 50,000 calling cards per month through 175 travel agencies nationwide.
"The travel business is a natural fit to our travel card program," stated Robert J. Zradicka, president and CEO of ComCentral. "Both the business and non-business traveler will benefit in having portable calling privileges. They will obtain discount calling rates, in most cases even less than AT&T, and avoid the expensive cost of calls made through other operator service companies. The traveler, getting a value added service from the travel agency, will tend to become a repeat buyer for that agency. It's a real win-win product offering." The contract is for a period of two years.
