COMARCO Announces New Airport Management Contract.

SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 1999--

COMARCO Inc. (NASDAQ:CMRO) Thursday announced that Comarco Services, a subsidiary of COMARCO Inc., has been awarded a contract to operate and manage the Altoona/Blair County, Pa., Airport.

The Blair County Airport Authority, and the Blair County Board of Commissioners made the award on April 26, 1999. Comarco Services Inc. will commence management of the airport on June 1, 1999. The contract is for five years, with two five-year options. The contract has been valued at over $5.6 million (with the options).

The Altoona/Blair County Airport is an air carrier airport serviced by U.S. Air Express commuter flights. Airport Authority Chairman Don Ruggery stated, "It's something I wanted from the beginning. As a result of this, you'll find a much bigger and better airport with less taxes for the taxpayers of Blair County."

Richard Loomis, president of Comarco Services, stated that, "Comarco plans to increase utilization of the facility's assets, especially the airport's terminal building. This new contract brings the number of general aviation and air carrier airports run by Comarco Services to 12."
