The loan is collateralized by eight properties and requires monthly payments based on a fixed rate of 7.45 percent with a 25-year amortization. The closing of the loan is subject to the satisfaction of certain standard lender requirements including environmental and engineering reports. The refinancing is expected to close on or before Sept. 15, 1995 and the proceeds are expected to be used by Columbus to repay $50 million of existing variable rate debt under its credit facility.
