The Alcatel 7310 LVG solution is unique in the industry for its ability to be deployed either as a standalone VoDSL solution or as an upgrade in each Alcatel 7300 Advanced Services Access Manager (ASAM ASAM American Society of Addiction Medicine

The Alcatel 5620 Network Manager provides seamless network management across access, edge and core devices to improve provisioning efficiency and customer service.

"Alcatel's leadership in broadband access and its significant presence in Spain were key factors in our selection," said Angel Rojo, director general of COLT Telecom in Spain. "Alcatel is able to deliver not only broadband, but the entire support network that ensures DSL is profitable for COLT and attractive to our business customers."

In late 2001, Alcatel announced a similar business broadband deployment with COLT France, servicing thousands of small and medium sized enterprises.
