COLLINS JUST THE TICKET; RISQUE HOST GETS AWARDS GO-ING.

Byline: PAUL MARTIN

And the winner for the most outrageous show host ever is.... comedian Justin Lee Collins Justin Lee Collins (born 28 July, 1974) is an English comedian, television presenter and radio presenter from Bristol, often known as 'JLC'. His distinctive West Country accent and "cave man" image are amongst his trademarks. He still lives in his native Bristol. .

There were many reasons to love last Friday's 7Up Go Belfast Awards (which my spies tell me are soon to be changed to the Go Northern Ireland Awards).

But none were bigger than Justin who pushed the boundaries and took no prisoners as he presented the gongs.

I took up my usual place on the most exclusive table of the night, entertaining the likes of former Miss World Rosanna Davison, Alex Best and my Big Bro babe pal Noirin Kelly with all my tales of showbiz gossip and scandal. And I was particularly impressed by Steven and Helen from Steven International hairdressing hairdressing, arranging of the hair for decorative, ceremonial, or symbolic reasons. Primitive men plastered their hair with clay and tied trophies and badges into it to represent their feats and qualities.  who joined my showbiz table and were the life and soul of the party.

But the real star of the night was Collins, who managed to get away with an insanely X-rated performance and have the crowd eating out of his hand.

Sinead on the big night - was simply terrible, but in all the right ways.

He shocked with his racy stage antics - jumping on any man unfortunate enough to have to go up to collect an award. He flirted outrageously with the girls and took a shine to Rosanna Davison who he christened "Daughter of De Burgh BURGH. A borough; (q. v.) a castle or town. " (Rosanna is Lady In Red songwriter Chris De Burgh's offspring, for the record).

When Justin announced my mate DJ Pete Snodden had scooped the Media Personality Of The Year gong he joked with the crowd: "I had sex with him earlier, and he's here now to collect his gong!"

He mustn't have realised that poor Pete's parents were in the audience to watch their son's big moment! Blush.

Justin was so intoxicatingly good that he simply must be asked back to judge next year.

A top night.

Well done Go Belfast Magazine (soon to be Go Northern Ireland).
