COLLEGIS Announces New Consulting Services Business Unit.

MAITLAND, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2000

COLLEGIS, Inc. announced today the formation of COLLEGIS Consulting Services Noun 1. consulting service - service provided by a professional advisor (e.g., a lawyer or doctor or CPA etc.)

The business unit will be staffed with current COLLEGIS employees coupled with the hiring of additional Higher Education specialists and senior Information Technology professionals. They will be charged with helping clients assess, plan and implement information technology solutions. The services offered will include: e.Campus planning, institutional strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people. , e.Learning planning, e.Commerce planning, strategic/tactical IT planning, process analysis and design, technology assessment and IT organization assessment.

COLLEGIS announced that Jan A. Baltzer has joined the company to lead the new business unit, serving as the Senior Vice President of Consulting Services. "The launch of COLLEGIS Consulting Services brings a new and expanded suite of services to the higher education community, focused on enabling institutions to strategically plan for and implement information technology solutions," said Baltzer.
