Junior Ali Daley registered her fifth double-double of the season with a match-high 12 kills and 12 digs as the fifth-ranked UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles

 women's volleyball team won the UC Irvine Invitational with a 30-19, 30-23, 30-18 victory over Southern Mississippi.

The Bruins hit .311 as a team to improve to 7-1 on the season. Southern Miss, which hit just .044, falls to 3-7.

Junior Elise Carstensen and freshman Dicey McGraw each added eight kills for UCLA, while sophomore Emily Clements had seven kills. Junior Nellie Spicer had 33 assists.

Oregon State 3, CSUN CSUN California State University Northridge  1: Redshirt freshman Lynda Morales had a team-high 17 kills but the Matadors lost to the Beavers 28-30, 30-26, 23-30, 23-30 in the Sacramento State Invitational.

With the win, the Beavers improve to 5-3 while the loss drops the Matadors to 3-5.

Morales, whose previous career-high in kills came in Friday's 3-2 win over Manhattan, matched that total with 17 against Oregon State. She hit .500 in the Matadors' win on Friday and came back to hit .364 in a career-hig 33 swings against the Beavers on Saturday.

Rachel Rourke knocked down a match-high 23 kills to lead Oregon State.
