UCLA (21-7) advances to the championship match against Georgia Tech, which defeated Cal.

Tracy Lin, Yasmin Schnack and Ashley Joelsen won singles matches for the Bruins, while Riza Zalameda/Schnack and Joelsen/Alex McGoodwin won doubles matches.

The loss by Stanford snaps the Cardinal's 22-match postseason winning streak. Stanford's last loss was in 2003 final to Florida. The Cardinal had reached eight consecutive NCAA finals before Monday's loss.

UCLA's last appearance in NCAA final was 2004, a 4-1 loss to Stanford. It is UCLA's fifth appearance in NCAA final. The Bruins have never won a women's tennis title.
