CROSS COUNTRY

UCLA men eighth, women 25th: The No. 19-ranked men's team finished eighth at the Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., as senior Austin Ramos led UCLA with his 15th-place individual finish with a time of 23:38.1.

For the women's team, senior Claire Rethmeier was the Bruins' top runner with an 83rd-place finish as UCLA finished 25th out of 35 teams.
