COLLEGE THEATERS EYE CUTS PRIVATE DONATIONS HELP FILL GAP AS STATE FUNDS DWINDLE.Byline: Lisa M. The College of Arts, Media and Communication at California State University, Northridge CSUN offers a variety of programs leading to bachelor's degrees in 61 fields and master's degrees in 42 fields. The university has over 150,000 alumni. It's also home to a summer musical theater/theater program known as TADW (TeenAge Drama Workshop) that leads teenagers through an , sustained a 5 percent cut to its $14 million budget. ``We've got some challenges, but we're going to try to work through them and keep our schedule of classes and - with some creativity - mount the season we originally planned,'' said William Toutant, dean of the college, which serves more than 3,000 students, including 200 theater majors and 450 music majors.
