COLLEGE SETS JOB FAIR FOR APRIL 2.

LANCASTER - Job seekers will be able to meet with more than 50 prospective employers expected to attend a April 2 job fair at Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties. .

The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 2 in the Student Services Building and Library Quadrangle at the campus, 3041 W. Ave. K.

Aerospace, health care, financial services, law enforcement and military services will be among the companies represented at the event. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes and wear appropriate attire, as interviews will be conducted there.

The event is sponsored by the Antelope Valley College Job Placement Center and the state Employment Development Department in conjunction with Corporate and Community Eduction e·duce

Employers confirmed for the event include ADT, Advantage Marketing, Antelope Valley Hospital, Assistance League Preschool, AV Geo Techniques, Blue Cross of Southern California, National Guard, California Psychcare, Countrywide Home Loans, DESI/Job Corps, Downey Savings and Loan savings and loan n. a banking and lending institution, chartered either by a state or the Federal government. Savings and loans only make loans secured by real property from deposits, upon which they pay interest slightly higher than that paid by most banks. , Edwards Air Force Base Edwards Air Force Base, U.S. military installation, 301,000 acres (121,805 hectares), S Calif., NE of Lancaster; est. 1933.
