Shortstop Adam Kennedy tied a school record with five hits Saturday as Cal State Northridge defeated Cal State Sacramento 18-6 in a Western Athletic Conference The Western Athletic Conference (commonly referred to as the WAC, pronounced "wack") was formed on July 27, 1962, making it the sixth oldest of the 11 college athletic conferences currently participating in the NCAA's Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly  baseball game at Sacramento.

Moorpark 16, Bakersfield 7: Eric Jue was 4 of 6 with five RBI and Ben Lemos was 4 of 6 with four RBI as the Raiders used a 12-run seventh inning to beat the Renegades in Bakersfield.

Glendale 11, Santa Barbara 2: Winning pitcher Jared Sandler scattered six hits through eight innings and Jamie Isenhart doubled and homered to lead the Vaqueros (3-7) in a WSC interdivisional game at Stengel Field.

Pepperdine 3-9, St. Mary's 1-4: Pitchers Greg Gregory and Jason LeBlanc both picked up wins for the host Waves (20-12, 10-1) in a West Coast Conference doubleheader. David Matranga hit a grand slam and finished with six RBI.

Cal Lutheran 14-6, Claremont 0-2: Heidi Stevens, who had thrown a no-hitter against Occidental one day earlier, allowed two hits in the five-inning finale that left CLU 19-0 overall and 14-0 in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) is a college athletic conference that operates in the NCAA's Division III.
