Adams, who was 0 for 3 prior to the home run, hit Kristen Hunter's 2-0 pitch over the right-field fence.

It scored pinch-runner Erin Rahn, who was running for Stacey Nuveman. Nuveman drew a two-out walk from Hunter one batter earlier.

The victory improved UCLA to 6-0 in the tournament and 24-0 overall. Fresno State falls to 16-3.

Courtney Dale, pitching in her hometown, improved to 12-0. She limited the Bulldogs to four hits and a second-inning run and struck out three.

Dale also had the Bruins' only other hit, a single, besides Adams' home run.

The Bruins, who beat DePaul, Long Beach State, Oregon State, Creighton and Missouri in the tournament, head to Chattanooga on Friday to play in the Frost Cutlery Classic.
