COLLEGE ROUNDUP: PIERCE SCORES EIGHT ON MISSION.

Nicole Walberg scored three goals to lead the Pierce College In 2006 the Library won a national Excellence award. Academics

Women's soccer: Christine Grover scored two goals to lead Point Loma Point Loma is a neighborhood of San Diego, California. Geographically it is a hilly peninsula that is bordered on the west and south by the Pacific Ocean, the east by the San Diego Bay and Old Town and the north by the San Diego River.  Nazarene to a 3-0 nonconference win over visiting Cal Lutheran.

The Regals (0-6) were outshot 30-11 and Point Loma had sixcorner kicks while Cal Lutheran had one.

Women's volleyball: Crista Jones had eight kills as La Verne defeated visiting Occidental 30-8, 30-13, 30-7 in SCIAC SCIAC SIGINT Correlation Integration & Analysis Capability  play.
