Cho finished with a 3-over 219 in the par-72, 6,130-yard course during the three-day tournament.

The Waves had five players finish in the top 64, including All-American Eileen Vargas who finished a par 72 in the final round. Vargas finshed the tournament with an overall score of 15-over 231. Teammates Stephanie Gelleni (14-over 230), Leanne Bowditch (23-over 239) and Jayvie Agojo (23-over 242) also placed for Pepperdine.

USC An abbreviation for U.S. Code.  finished with a team score of 922 to place fifth. The Trojans were led by Paola Moreno who shot a final round of 3-over 75 to finish in seventhe. Catalina Marin (9-over 225) tied for 10th and Shelcie Takenouchi (14-over 248) also placed for the Trojans.

Men's soccer: Ben Cox and Sunghyan Kim each had a goal and an assist to extend visiting Cal State Northridge's unbeaten streak to seven games with the 4-1 win over UC Irvine in a Big West Conference game.

With the victory, CSUN CSUN California State University Northridge  improved its record to 3-0-2 (5-3-4 overall) in Big West play to remain two points ahead of UC Irvine and UC Riverside, who the Matadors face Saturday.

CSUN took scored two goals within a minute of each other to lead 2-0 in the first half. Kim scored his goal in the eighth minute and Fergie Agwu, assisted by Cox, scored a minute later.

Cox scored his goal in the game's 84th minute on an assist from Taylor Canel Taylor Canel, born April 30, 1985 to Mary Jo and Marcelo Canel, is an U.S. soccer player.

Canel played his club soccer for West Valley Samba from 1998-2003 under Keith West, and for Crespi Carmelite High School for four years from 00-03.
