 to nine games, rallying for a 26-16 nonconference football victory over Willamette in its home opener at Mt. Clef Stadium.

Pearce kicked four field goals and the Kingsmen (2-0) overcame a 16-6 halftime deficit to win for the 15th time in 16 outings. Cal Lutheran last week rallied to beat Pacific Lutheran in its opener.

Jones ran 22 yards on the first play, former Canyon High of Canyon Country standout Louis Montano followed with a 14-yard run, and Jones then hit Lehman for the touchdown.
