The 6-foot forward, from Camarillo High, has 10 regular-season women's basketball games remaining to eclipse the mark set by Kim Peppi-Kuenn - 1,523 - in 1983-87, and she'll do it Saturday at Redlands if she matches her 22.0 points-per-game average in Cal Lu's next two games. Stroot has bested her average five times this season and scored 30 or more on three occasions. Stroot also is closing in on Peppi-Kuenn's records for field goals (661) and free throws (291) made. She has 594 field goals and 289 free throws heading into Thursday night's game at Pomona-Pitzer.
