COLLEGE NIGHT TO RETURN.Byline: Daily News Canyon High School will be the location for this year's College Night to be held Oct. 8. From 6 to 6:50 p.m., food, sodas and logo clothing items from all the Santa Clarita Valley high schools will be on sale in the student store. Booklets that will be available for purchase include ``Planning for Your Child's Future,'' ``An Instruction Booklet for the Parents of College Bound Students,'' and ``Preparation and Planning - Your Key to Success in Going to College.'' Presentations will begin at 6:50, 7:40 and 8:30 p.m. Parents and students, in 10th to 12th grades, will have the opportunity to participate in three sessions. As parking may be a problem, people are advised to arrive early. A continuous free shuttle service will be provided by the William S. Hart Union High School District from the Via Princessa Metrolink Station beginning at 6 p.m. Additional parking will be available in the student-staff parking section at Canyon as well as on the softball and football practice fields, located off Nadal Street. This will be the second annual Santa Clarita Valley College Night. The format will be workshop style with 17 presenters in the three session periods. These presenters are experts in their fields and represent well-known universities and companies. You will be able to choose which three presentations to attend from the following list.
