The Antelope Valley
 College's Dance Department's annual Dance Dimensions concert this weekend.

In what began as an experiment more than a decade ago, the Dance Dimensions concert showcases the work of the college dance department and its student choreographers and dancers.

The concerts tonight and Saturday will also feature several visiting companies, including the Los Angeles-based modern dance company, Ciagio Collective, directed by Rande Dorn; and the Antelope Valley Ballet, under the direction of former college dance instructor Kathleen Burnett. The theme is In Touch with Life, which carries additional resonance for first time Dance Dimensions artistic director Cindy Littlefield. Littlefield is expecting a baby during the first part of June.

Assisting Littlefield is assistant artistic director Shelby Curtis, whose own piece features a collaboration of many of the visiting guest musicians in a dance inspired by the music of The Beatles.

Another piece is a collaboration of hip-hop and break dancing styles, showcasing four different choreographers and 24 dancers.

Performances will be held at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , 750 W. Lancaster Blvd., at 8 p.m. tonight and Saturday. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $8 for children (17 and under), students (with proper identification), and AVC (1) (Advanced Video Coding) The video compression techniques used in the H.264 standard, jointly developed by ISO and the ITU-T.
