COLLEGE HOCKEY TITLE SET FOR ICE STATION.

VALENCIA - The top four teams in the Pacific Collegiate col·le·giate

 Hockey Association will compete this weekend at the Ice Station Valencia to determine a league champion.

San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  and Davis - and two California State University Enrollment
 teams - Northridge and Fresno - will compete in the tournament, which marks the end of the season.

``The championship tournament is what these student athletes play for all year long,'' Joe Merkens, the tournament's director, said in a statement. ``While the hockey programs may not get the same fanfare as some of the other sports at the schools, be assured that the intensity level of these games will be comparable to any college sporting event where a league championship is at stake.''

The games will take place Friday through Saturday at the Ice Station, with the championship game beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week. .

Tickets are $10 per day and admission is free for children 10 and under.
