The speedy junior from Taft High in Woodland Hills, announced his decision through a school spokesman Wednesday. Anderson is a two-time NCAA NCAA abbr. National Collegiate Athletic Association champion in the 400-meter hurdles and finished ninth at the U.S. Olympic Trials last year. He caught 33passes and had twotouchdowns while starting 11 games in 2008 and had fourcatches in twostarts this season. He said he wants to "to focus all my attention on track. ... I can't give 100 percent to both and still reach my goals." Cougars coach Paul Wulff said Anderson is a "once-in-a-lifetime athlete" and that he respected his dedication to try to be best in the world in the hurdles.
