Byline: Billy Witz Staff Writer

Jump shots aren't the only thing Bryce Taylor Bryce Taylor is an American college basketball player at the University of Oregon. The 6'5", 205 pound junior guard is currently averaging 14.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg. High School  wants to be open this summer. He wants his eyes and ears uncovered, too.

While most players are trying to impress their way into scholarships or rides to higher-profile schools, Taylor is playing relatively unburdened because he's just a junior. Instead, he watches what the upcoming seniors are going through so the experience won't be so new for him next summer.

``I'm especially watching Omar,'' Taylor said of Omar Wilkes, his teammate on the L.A.-based Pump-N-Run squad. ``He's done so well, so any tips I can pick up from him are great.''
