Patrick Rooney, Luke Salas and Chad Tracy Chad Austin Tracy (born May 22, 1980 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is a third baseman in Major League Baseball who plays with the Arizona Diamondbacks.Tracy also commonly known as "Opposite Field Tracy" bats left handed and throws right handed.

 each homered as Pepperdine defeated visiting Portland 10-1 to complete a series sweep in West Coast Conference play on Saturday.

Rooney homered to lead off the fourth and sophomores Luke Salas and Chad Tracy each hit two-run homers in the same inning to help the Waves (17-8, 5-0) to their season-high sixth consecutive win.

Freshman right-hander Barry Enright (2-1) pitched six innings, allowed one run, walked three and struck out five, and Jason Dominguez (Chatsworth) and Doug Konoske each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

Rooney went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBI for the Waves. Salas had two hits and three RBI and David Uribes, Kleen, Danny Worth and Ortiz each had two hits apiece. All nine starters in Pepperdine's lineup had at least one hit.

Larish also hit a solo home run to right in the fourth as the Sun Devils to give a 1-0 lead it held over USC (14-8, 1-2) until the eighth inning.
