Wade Friesen and Aaron McKenzie hit home runs Friday and three Cal State Northridge players had two hits apiece as the host Matadors beat Cal State Fullerton 6-4 to hand the Titans their first Big West Conference baseball loss of the season.

CSUN (8-30, 2-2) spotted Fullerton (26-8, 3-1) a 1-0 lead in the second inning, took a 3-1 lead into the top of the sixth, then overcame a three-run Fullerton rally by scoring three runs in the bottom of that inning.

Drew Aguilar, Mark McCauley and McKenzie each had two hits each for the Matadors, who matched the Titans' nine hits.

Scott Robertson (3-3), the second of three CSUN pitchers, earned the victory with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless, two-hit ball in relief of starter Edward Camacho. Leo Rosales earned his first save with a one-hit ninth.

Danny Born, David Fischer and Ronnie Prettyman had two hits each for Fullerton. Starter Wes Littleton took the loss, yielding five runs, all earned, while working the first 5 2/3 innings.

--Pepperdine 4, Loyola Marymount 2: Chris Kelly doubled twice in a 3-for-4 performance and Taylor Klosowski added two hits as host Pepperdine (20-15, 10-3) defeated LMU (21-14, 8-5) in a West Coast Conference game in Malibu.

Greg Ramirez went all the way for the pitching victory, striking out three and walking one in a four-hitter.

Joe Frazee and Josh Whitesell homered and Sean Smith had two hits for LMU, which erased an early 1-0 Pepperdine lead with a run in the fifth inning before falling behind for good when the Waves took a 3-2 lead in the seventh.
