Andy Wilson's two-out single in the 12th inning drove in Terrmel Sledge Terrmel Sledge (born March 18, 1977 in Fayetteville, North Carolina) is a Major League Baseball player for the San Diego Padres. Sledge is an outfielder whose career began in 2004 with the Montreal Expos.  with the winning run as Cal State Northridge beat Sacramento State 9-8 Friday in an opening game of the Sacramento State tournament.

Wilson finished 3 for 5 as Northridge improved to 6-1-1. The Matadors tied the game at 8-8 with three runs in the top of the ninth inning. Pinch-hitter Clark Parker delivered the key hit, a two-run double.

Gary Stephenson picked up the pitching victory, allowing one run in 4-1/3 innings of relief. Sledge and Cesar Martinez contributed two hits apiece for Northridge.

Pierce 13, L.A. City 6: Kirk Mayer doubled and homered and Harry Kenoi turned in strong pitching as the Brahmas (1-3) defeated the Cubs in a WSC tournament game at home.

Harbor 12, Valley 5: Catcher Casey Roth was 2 for 3 with a double and second baseman Dylan Forman was 2 for 4 for the Monarchs (1-5) in a WSC tournament loss to the Seahawks (3-3) at Valley.

Biola 6, Loyola Marymount 2: Rand Wagner hit two home runs and finished with four RBI as Biola (3-0).

Azusa 13, The Master's 0: The Mustangs were outhit 21-4 and fell to 1-5 on the season with the nonconference loss to visiting Azusa.
