COLLEGE'S JOB FAIR TO OFFER RECRUITMENT SERVICES FOR ALL.

SANTA CLARITA - College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation.  will hold a job fair Wednesday, offering opportunities to people with all types of experience levels.

As many as 100 employers are expected to attend the semiannual recruitment effort from 1:30 to 5 p.m. on campus, 26455 N. Rockwell Canyon Road.

``College of the Canyons provides a job fair twice a year to address the needs and concerns of individuals and the community that we serve and our neighboring communities,'' said Sandy Kingsley, director of the college's Career Center.

As many as 4,000 people have attended past job fairs.

``Community colleges are advocates for the people that they serve,'' Kingsley said. ``Although the economy is good, we know that there are many people who are unemployed, underemployed un·der·em·ployed

The service seeks to improve its performance through the development of efficient mail-handling systems and operates its own planning and engineering programs. .
