David Coleman, OBE (born 26 April 1926) is a former British sports commentator and TV presenter.
, a two-way standout who led the Falcons to their fifth consecutive Golden League football title, has been named the league's player of the year.

 quarterback Daunte Culpepper, threw for more than 1,000 yards and was involved in 23 touchdowns (18 passing, five rushing.)

Senior Hayworth Hicks was named the lineman of the year for Palmdale (9-2, 6-0,) which dominated the all-league team.

The Falcons were represented by seven first-team all-league selections, six second-team selections, and one honorable mention.

Coleman thrived in his first year as Palmdale's starting quarterback after playing in the shadow of former Div. I prospect Rodney Trimm his first two years on the varsity.

Coleman, a 6-foot-2 190-pounder, is being recruited by several Div. I programs including Fresno State, San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. Jeff Williams (born June 6, 1972 in Canberra) is an Australian-born, left-handed pitcher for the Hanshin Tigers baseball team.

Williams said Coleman is getting looks at multiple positions including quarterback, outside linebacker and wide receiver.

``He was definitely and an impact player,'' Williams said. ``He made a big difference on offense and on defense. He kind of made us go.''

``He's one of the most dominant linemen we've had here, ever,'' Williams said. ``He's one of those guys who could go to a Div A DIV Associate of Divinity . I program and start as a freshman.''

Lancaster's Marcus Wyre, a two-way standout known primarily for his defense before this year, rushed for 1,172 yards and was named the league's back of the year.

Knight's Luis Castaneda was named the league's kicker of the year.
