NATICK, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 1995 Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX), the world's leading supplier of machine vision systems, has shipped its 25,000th machine vision system. The machine vision system was shipped to MPM Corporation, a Franklin, MA manufacturer of screen printing machinery for the electronics manufacturing industry.

MPM integrates Cognex machine vision systems with screen printing machinery used to print patterns of various solder pastes, epoxies, and cermets through a screen or stencil onto the surface of circuit boards. The machine vision system increases the MPM screen printer's pattern positioning accuracy by precisely aligning the screen or stencil to the board prior to printing.
