Tommy Walsh (born 1956 in London) is an English celebrity builder. He attended Parmiter's School, then in Bethnal Green.

Walsh said: "I read Christy Ring's book and Christy always said it wasn't about winning All-Ireland medals.

"He just wanted to be the best that he could be.

Brian Cody when he came in, the first thing he wanted to do was have a spirit in the camp that couldn't be broken.

"And it wasn't to win AllIreland medals - which obviously he does - but his number one aim was to have a spirit in the camp.

"Every year he goes out, that's all he wants.

"It doesn't matter if youre a Henry Shefflin or a number 30 on the team, if you're spirit isn't right or you're not in it for the team then you probably won't be on it."
