CoCreate Software, Inc., has deployed service pack 1 for OneSpace.net 2005. This recent version accelerates the performance of application sharing within engineering environments and adds envelopes for managing inter-company engineering processes.

General purpose online collaboration tools struggle with the rich graphics used in engineering applications such as CAD, CAM and CAE. As a result, the online meetings required to support the design review cycle proceed slowly -- keeping global design teams at the office late into the night.
