Valley (2-7, 2-4) is on the opposite end of the spectrum and has struggled throughout this season. Its offense averages 289 yards per game, ranking 54th among 71 teams playing JC football in California. The defense isn't much better, giving up more than 364 yards per outing, 50th in the state.

Meanwhile, Canyons is as balanced as it comes.

The offense totals a conference-best 449 yards from scrimmage per game. Opposing teams have only been able to generate 270 yards per contest against the Cougars, the seventh-best defense in the state.

Ultimately, Valley could be in for a long day, particularly when considering Canyons has revenge on its mind after narrowly winning last season's game 48-45 on the road.
