COALITION MAPS VIOLENCE SPOTS IN, NEAR CSUN.

Byline: Daily News

The Northridge Northridge is the name of some places in the United States of America:
  • Northridge, Los Angeles, California, a community in California's San Fernando Valley
  • California State University, Northridge
Community Coalition released a map Thursday Thursday: see week.  showing where drug- and alcohol-related violence occur in and around Cal State Northridge.

A preliminary review showed the pockets with higher rates of arrests are in student dorms and along major roads such as Nordhoff Street and Zelzah Zelzah station (California, 1910-1929) was a Southern Pacific depot town founded in 1910 at the Colonel Henry Hubbard & "Bud" Wright Hawk Ranch north of Los Angeles.

Shortly after the Los Angeles City Aqueduct opened in 1913 Henry Hubbard became a member of Aqueduct Board.
Avenue, said Fred Strache, coalition chairman and director of CSUN's health center.

The data came from 1997 reports by the Los Angeles Police Department "LAPD" and "L.A.P.D." redirect here. For other uses, see LAPD (disambiguation).

The Northridge Community Coalition was created 1-1/2 years ago through a $250,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Its job is to examine a series of issues that affect the campus and its greater community, including substance abuse and violence.

``We look at what's occurring, where it's occurring, what's the relationship and where (violators) are picked up by police,'' Strache said.

``What we do with the information is to see what can we do to prevent assaults,'' Strache said. ``Or, if people are arrested, what can we do to prevent this. Should we be patrolling the area more often?''

But so far, Strache said, the coalition hasn't drawn any conclusions.
