COADE Publishes Erdman Anthony Case Describing How CADWorx and CAESAR II Benefited Eastman Kodak Project in New York.

HOUSTON -- COADE announced today the publication of a new case history on how Erdman Anthony used CADWorx and CAESAR II

, and reducing costs for the firm and its client.

The Eastman Kodak project involved demolitions and relocations within a 120-year old plant with 200 buildings spread over 1,000 acres of land. Thousands of pieces of equipment and 100,000 feet of piping modifications were part of the complex project. Erdman Anthony handled 80% of the engineering and design for the three-year, $190 million project.

Because of the project's challenges involving multiple systems, Erdman Anthony decided to use COADE CADWorx Plant, CADWorx Steel and CAESAR II in part because the programs allow engineers and designers to share information back and forth with ease and with full synchronization. These COADE products allowed them to perform stress analysis, easily extract data from models and ensure a dynamic exchange between the analysis tool and the model, with successful interaction among all of the design team members. The CADWorx program's 3D visualization allowed reviews by all stakeholders Stakeholders

, helping them to eliminate potential errors and rework and save time and money for all. They were able to pre-order materials, reducing the cost of materials due to price increases. The COADE software also helped them identify a 50% error in an estimation that helped save even more for the firm and its client.

About COADE

COADE, Inc. is a provider of software for multiple plant design and engineering disciplines. COADE's aims are that design and engineering should share relevant information seamlessly, thereby maintaining accuracy and improving efficiency. COADE's product line conforms to those goals and includes: CAESAR II, the world's most widely used pipe stress analysis software; PV Elite for pressure vessel Pressure vessel

A cylindrical or spherical metal container capable of withstanding pressures exerted by the material enclosed. Pressure vessels are important because many liquids and gases must be stored under high pressure.
 and heat exchanger heat exchanger

Any of several devices that transfer heat from a hot to a cold fluid. In many engineering applications, one fluid needs to be heated and another cooled, a requirement economically accomplished by a heat exchanger.
