CO Space Services to Address Critical Space Needs.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999--CO Space Services, LLC announced today the launch of its network of critical operations space (CO Space) facilities. CO Space facilities are high-quality, NEBS-compliant, 24 by 7 staffed, carrier-neutral facilities designed to house mission-critical telecommunications, Internet, data processing, data storage, and related equipment.

CO Space's Boston facility of 25,000 square feet, currently under construction, is slated for occupancy in April 1999. CO Space is developing additional facilities for 1999 occupancy in New York, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago, Sacramento, Atlanta, and Dallas. CO Space plans further expansion to other U.S. cities, Canada, and western Europe in 2000. Each facility provides a range of space options, including 2 foot by 2 foot cabinets, 10 foot by 10 foot cubicles, and flex space that can be configured for requirements from 50 to 5,000 square feet.

CO Space provides shared work space for customers within its facilities, as well as private offices and/or private equipment spaces at its facilities. According to Catherine Davies, Chief Strategy Officer of CO Space, "economies of scale mean that we can provide facilities of 25 to 5,000 square feet at a fraction of the cost that would be required if they were built as stand alone-installations. Our onsite staffing and value-added services multiply savings by reducing long-term staffing and operating costs."
