CNN Money to Provide Relevant Financial News and

Enhanced Coverage on Personal Finance

The CNN News Group announced today that CNNfn will be transformed to "CNN Money" later this year. Focusing on mainstream consumers, CNN Money will provide relevant breaking financial news and enhanced coverage of personal finance.

CNN Money will draw on a range of AOL Time Warner resources including Time Warner Cable, AOL and Time Inc. to reach millions of consumers every day.

Building on the strong foundations of CNNfn, CNN Money will also receive additional carriage on Time Warner Cable as well as content and promotional support from Time Inc. brands, including Fortune and Money magazines. CNN Money will also receive traffic and promotional support from the AOL Personal Finance Channel, the number one financial destination in cyberspace according to Media Metrix.
