CNIC hooks up with Benefits Informatics.

[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED]

CNIC HEALTH SOLUTIONS has partnered with Benefit Informatics to provide data analysis and reporting services to clients and broker partners.

CNIC will utilize BI's Connect service to provide electronic access to analysis functions. Approved staff members from each employer group and approved brokers can login to the Web-based service to monitor health plan utilization, trends and plan performance.

"We are pleased to be offering CNIC and their clients and brokers a one-stop, single sign-on solution for both analyzing and reporting health plan utilization," said Philip Kurtz, Benefit Informatics president and CEO. "As employers across the country look for ways to control health plan costs, we want to be an active partner with our TPA and insurance company customers in providing the most timely, most valuable decision support information for every stakeholder in the employee health benefits process."
