CNG association concludes CNG stations closure strike.

ISLAMABAD, November 13, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Chairman CNG Associations Ghayas Paracha has announced the o conclusion of strike of CNG Stations throughout the country after successful negotiation with the Government against closure of CNG station for two-days in a week. Talking to media here Friday after meeting of CNG Association with federal Minister for Privatization Syed Naveed Qamar, he reiterated that CNG association was committed to ensure provision of cheap-fuel for 1.5 Crore Consumers of vehicles in the country. He also informed that to address the problems of Gas load management, negotiations would be held on 17th November with the Government representatives to settle the problem of gas shortage and gas load management by evolving a workable solution Chairman CNG Association Ghayas Paracha also proclaimed to conclude the CNG stations strike call after the assurance of Federal Minister for Privatization to withdraw Two-days closure of CNG stations in a week. He also reiterated that CNG association committed to sustain unbreakable provision of gas supply for the domestic consumers during the winter season and in this connection gas load management problem will be soon solve out with the consultation of other stakeholders. Later talking to media federal Minister for Privatization Syed Naveed Qamar stated that during the meeting CNG owners have informed about their difficulties adding that the factor of gas shortage could not be ruled out, however a workable solution will be formed soon with the negotiation of CNG association. He also informed that during the 17th November meeting with CNG association issues related to policy and management of Gas load management will also be solved regarding how to settle the shortage of gas load after 15th November 2009.
